07.1 Astronomy Tours tab

The Astronomy Tours introduce you to a range of topics using the RedShift engine. Running some of these tours is a good way to find out what RedShift can do.
Click one of the six buttons to open the desired section (see section 25. Astronomy Tours for details).
07.2 Using RedShift tab

Here you will find variety of help in using RedShift.
Click the Introduction button to start the Introduction interactive movie (this is played by default when you first start RedShift.)
Click the Customizing RedShift button open the relevant section of the Help manual.
Click RedShift Help to open the Help Manual content page.
Click one of the six other buttons to run a short tour of each of the Control panels. These tours work in the same way as the Astronomy tours (see section 25.3 Astronomy Tours controls for details).
 07.3 Story of the Universe tab

The Story of the Universe is a set of ten interactive movies explaining concepts in astronomy. Scroll the window to see all of the movies.
Click one of the ten buttons to start the desired movie (see section 29.2 Controlling the Story of the Universe for more details).
 07.4 Dossier tab

RedShift contains three books to provide you with information on astronomy - Record Breakers, the Dictionary of Astronomy and the Photo Gallery.
Click one of the buttons to open the desired book (see sections 27. Dictionary of Astronomy, 28. Photo Gallery or 30. Record Breakers for more details).
 07.5 News tab

RedShift can provide news of astronomy events based on its own calculation engine, or from the dedicated Internet Web site.
Click the Sky diary button to open the Sky diary (see section 34. Sky Diary for more details).
Click one of the four Internet access buttons to access the desired section of the RedShift Web site (see section 26.2 Online news for more details).
